Personally, I think the whole SecondLife fad is just that, a fad. The fact that so many big names are using interns to waste work-hours in SecondLife goes to prove only that popularity knows not the ways of the real world.

I dont know how much affect such an advertising campaign will have in the real world, but good on you for trying new things. I just wouldnt put too much faith in it myself.

Yup, I have to agree with that and my college is agreeing too. For that reason we did not do anything more for Second Life. But my brother is a big fan of Second Life and why not let him do his thing

We have not done much marketing yet anyway and probably will do much more for the next community website (www.MeinSport.de), which is much more important for us ^^

It can not only be a "fad" or "Hype" because Linden Labs foundet sl very long time before. In the Year 1999 he says it was only designed as an experiment.
so its definitivly not only a game.

OK, every 2-3 seconds a new Avatar is borned in sl. But i don´t think this is only a "hype" or "fad" because there is absolutly no ending in this growing economic now for over a year.
We shall not know until next year.

The reason why sl only from now on has popularity it´s  because people and Computers now are ready for this digital living.

It´s a fact that anything goes virtual. who does not take part in the development just is overslept.  (wer nicht mitmacht wird diese Entwicklung einfach verschlafen)

btw.
from hearsay in the future it is possible that the inworld script language changes to c++ or d.
